TUAC (Train.Up.A.Child) Learning Academy is..........

A faith-based organization serving children from Kindergarden thru 3rd grade founded on Biblical values. A good example is Proverbs 22:6 which says: “Train Up A Child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart

from it”. This directly coincides with our vision to assist in the transformation of a diverse community of

students through the word of God! Our program will develop students into people of integrity and character

who then contribute to the good of society. Through our teachings we will equip children with the practical

and soft skills necessary to compete in a global marketplace.

TUAC believes before teaching can be successful students must be accessed to determine their gifts and

learning styles applicable to his/her learning abilities. Based on the results, we pair the student with an

Educator whose learning styles are comparable to their specific niche. Our curriculums are designed for

convenience and effective teaching with individualized plans set up as one-on-one sessions. It's important

to preface our lesson plans based on the teaching standards required by the state in which the child learns

through STEM(Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics) integration.

The student will be provided a positive culture that allows him/her to problem-solve, collaborate, create, test ideas, and build with their hands. Our goal is to inspire students to think, innovate, troubleshoot, and research as teams in small setting as our ideal teacher to student ratio is 1 to 12.. STEM is easily weaved into every subject through books, videos, discussions, power points, and lesson plans as we present ideas as questions or problems. Our curriculum is built to aid in the recovery of lost learning while simultaneously rebuilding a solid foundation because topics tend to build on each other as your child progresses through school thus producing a great interest to succeed, good study skills, and grade improvement.
